10 June 2019 Land's End, but first off to St Ives

We took the suggestion of a lady in Penzance and drove to St Erth from Marazion then took a train to St Ives.

For 3 hours, we traipsed around the St Ives harbor and got on to the tail end of the southwest Coast Path at the end of the harbor.

We ate excellent seafood at St Ives Harbor, an outfit that did not attract much patrons. On a clear warm day like that, everything sparkled under the sun; the azure sea, gentle lapping waves and area near St Nich's Chapel.

We took the train back to St Erth to claim our car. Another 30 mins on the A30 and we found ourselves in Land's End. The scenery was out of this world! The weather was perfect and we quickly did a long walk towards Naninjal lookout point. It was km and km of breathtaking scenery in an almost windless afternoon.

We dined in the hotel. It was food that was excellently presented and nothing we could fault at except that the service staff wasn't so good at attending to us. I did not feel the same level of friendliness as she had for the other customers.

Back to the room where we enjoyed a glorious sunset out of our windows. Then it was off to dreamland in front of the TV. That's a wonderful life!
