14 june back to London

Relieved of the small Portreath studio, we gladly drove from Portreath to Boscastle. It was a windy descent through misty hills and sharp turns. We spent an hour walking around the cute harbour villag. Only then did we realise that we love the valley as much as the coast, if not, even more. 

We stopped at Whitehouse Okehampton for lunch before continuing the long drive to London.

Friday was intermittent start and stop driving day on the M3.  At Chicklade stop,  the restaurant boss recommends M3 into Hammersmith because M25 is a nightmare for driving. Great advice for it saved us 2 hours of traffic disruption.

Lamington apartment is a luxurious 2 bedroom apartment with plenty of room for everything. We flopped exhausted and so grateful for such a lovely place for the next 6 nights.
