18 June another impromptu late night move
Had a leisurely shopping at Portobello where we ate at the most posh Gails Bakery. At Whittard, a chap suggested we take a nice walk past the gardens to Westfield instead of doing the shorter Ladbroke route.
How we shopped and ate at Westfield! It was leisurely and most enjoyable to not have an agenda for the day.
However, at 8pm, H said there is a schedule change tomorrow so we rushed down to Woburn and did a late night uber house move.At 10pm, the Uber XL driver sulkily dropped us off at Avondale Rd without ever stepping out of the car to attempt any help. £26 for our final move. Perhaps next time, we do this with pro movers. 2 night trips is simply too much and too weird.
