7 June Marazion and the Blue Horizon

7 June from Lizard to Marazion

The weather turned for the worst and a storm brewing from the south came hard and furious for the entire day. We left yha after an invigorating walk towards Housel bay, battered by strong winds whipped up by the edge of an impending storm.

From YHA Lizard, we went to Godrevy lighthouse. I made a bad decision to pay for a day's worth of parking but the weather thwarted our plans. After a long brunch we tried to see the lighthouse but the wind was too much for us.

Regrettably we left for Marazion, our next base for 3 nights. Blue horizon is a pretty house managed by the bnb of the same name. There wasn't any views of the sea but the house was cute and everything works.

We tried to venture out many times but the cold and wind pushed us back. A narrow hour of respite and we spent it at Godolphin Arms where we ate a very wonderful dinner.
